Peyton Michael Sims died in a tragic car accident on Monday, April 17, 2023. He was born December 12, 2004 in Oklahoma City and lived most all his life in Mustang, OK where he attended Kindergarten through 12th grade. He was a senior set to graduate in May of 2023. He was on the Mustang baseball team for 2 years, but his true love was volleyball, he played club ball for OKC Heat and was the manager for the Mustang High School varsity volleyball team. Peyton always excelled in his studies and was a member of the National Honor Society and a Valedictorian and was accepted and planning to be a 4th generation “Cowboy” at Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater. Peyton loved upgrading and modifying his car, working out at his favorite gym, video games, watching any and all sports, especially when the Pokes were playing.

When a loved one dies, one of the biggest fears of their family and close friends is that they will be forgotten. The 1212 Foundation was created with the goal of making sure Peyton's spirit lived on. The 1212 Foundation's intention is to provide brighter futures and bigger life experiences to those journeying on Peyton's path.
